Terms and Conditions for CoffeeChat Bot

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CoffeeChat Bot or the associated website at https://coffeechatbot.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use CoffeeChat Bot. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Service Description
CoffeeChat Bot is a Discord-integrated application that allows server admins to schedule and manage coffee chat events. Features include participant queuing, voice channel management, and event history.

4. Account and Authentication
Access to administrative features requires authentication via Discord OAuth2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

5. Data Collection and Use
We collect Discord user data (user ID, username, avatar, server ID/name/avatar) and website data (login info, cookies, analytics, configuration). Data is used to render the frontend and implement core functionality. Data is retained indefinitely. Only server owners can view their server-specific data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Hosting and Security
Data is stored in SQL databases hosted on Turso. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Additional security measures include rate limiting, HTTPS, and access control based on Discord roles.

7. Availability
Service uptime is not guaranteed. The application may be affected by bugs or changes to the Discord API. Functionality may degrade or become unavailable at any time.

8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email or Discord notification.

9. Limitation of Liability
CoffeeChat Bot, its operators, and affiliates are not liable for damages arising from service outages, user interactions in voice chats, or third-party misuse of the service.

10. Third-Party Services
This service integrates with Discord, Stripe, Vercel, and Turso. Some user data may be shared with these platforms solely to enable functionality. No user data is sold or shared with additional third parties.

11. User Rights
Users can request data deletion or opt out of data collection by contacting will@coffeechatbot.app. Requests will be handled within 2 business days.

12. Security Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified via email or Discord DM within 240 hours.

13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
